Corrections Policy
How to report an error and how Garage Playbook corrects and discloses mistakes.
Accuracy matters when people make real decisions about money, safety, and travel. When we make a mistake, we fix it quickly and openly.
How to report an error
Use the report form or email corrections@garageplaybook.com. Include the page, what is wrong, and a source if you have one.
What happens next
- We acknowledge reports that include an email address, usually within 2 business days.
- We check the claim against the original or official source.
- If we made an error, we correct it, generally within 5 business days, faster for safety issues.
How we disclose corrections
- Minor fixes (typos, broken links, formatting) are corrected without a note.
- Substantive corrections (a wrong figure, rule, date, or conclusion) are noted at the end of the article with the date and what changed.
- Safety-related corrections are noted at the top of the article.
- Location records get an updated “last verified” date and source.
Updates versus corrections
When facts change after publication, such as a new law, a park rule, or a product update, we update the article and its “updated” date rather than labeling it a correction.
